For over a decade we have called Richmond home and are proud that Smokey Chooks is a 3121 staple. We feel incredibly supported by the local community, many of whom have become good friends. Nothing makes us happier than knowing your meal is served fresh. For this reason, we spread out the cook of our chooks to make sure you’re getting the freshest chickens! We even cook your chips to order, which are always worth the wait. A hot tip is to call ahead to avoid disappointment, to secure one of our hot, fresh chickens and tasty sides.

We are always asked what we put in our delicious seasoning, although it’s a closely guarded secret, the spices are hand mixed from scratch with no nasties. Our fresh, not frozen chickens, are seasoned for 24hrs before being cooked over charcoal, giving it that signature, smokey taste the natural way.

It’s important the chickens we use have been looked after before they come to us, we make sure they are locally sourced and free-range. No preservatives are used, they are gluten free and halal.
